FUCKED UP celebrate 20 years of the Zodiac, NEXT WEEK!
Yes, the Zodiac calendar has only 12 cycles, but when they started this back in 2006 with "Year of the Dog," many thought it was another one of FUCKED UP's tricks. Yet, here we are - 20 years on, with the 12th and final installment, "Year of the Rooster" on the horizon. 13 slabs of vinyl - so far - of baroque hardcore punk psychedelia. The cycle almost complete. Celebrating 20 years of the journey to becoming, perhaps, Canada's most prolific band. Yeah... we can't believe it either!
For this special evening, FUCKED UP will be playing selections from the entire Zodiac series, including yet to be released music from "Year of the Rooster." They'll be joined for the event by the equally psychedelic experimentation, though on the opposite spectrum of intense, YOU CAN CAN, as well as Hamilton post-rockers PUBLIC HEALTH. An event!
