\n𝐔𝐙𝐄𝐃𝐀 is an Italian underground rock quartet formed in 1987 in Catania\,
\nSicily\, taking their name from Porta Uzeda\, a Baroque city gate in the
ir\nhometown. Known for their intense\, angular sound\, often likened to t
he explosive\nforce of nearby Mount Etna\, UZEDA emerged as one of Italy’s
most original\nindependent rock acts\, navigating the spaces between alte
	rnative rock\, noise\nrock\, and math-influenced dynamics.\n\nhttps://yout
	u.be/NM_5wmkfEZE [https://youtu.be/NM_5wmkfEZE]\nhttps://uzeda.bandcamp.co
	m [https://uzeda.bandcamp.com]\n\nOriginally a five-piece\, the band’s ear
ly activity culminated in the 1991\nrelease of their debut LP “Out of Colo
urs” on A.V. Arts. A tireless touring\nschedule across Europe\, including
dates in Italy supporting Lush\, helped build a\nwider underground audienc
e and landed the video for “Hallucinated Games” on\nregular rotation on It
aly’s VideoMusic Channel.\n\nAfter sending a demo tape to legendary musici
an-engineer Steve Albini\, he agreed\nto record their second album and tra
veled to Italy to work with the band. The\nresulting album\, Waters (1993)
\, marked a defining moment in UZEDA’s sound and\nwas internationally cham
pioned by British radio legend John Peel\, who invited\nthe band to record
a session at BBC Maida Vale\, one of the few Italian acts ever\nto do so.
\n\nFollowing the release of “The Peel Sessions” (1994)\, UZEDA signed to
the\ninfluential American indie Touch and Go Records\, releasing “4” (1995
) and\n“Different Section Wires” (1998). After a period of hiatus in the e
arly 2000s\,\nthe band reunited to record “Stella” (2006)\, again with Alb
ini\, for Touch and\nGo.\n\nIn 2019\, UZEDA returned with “Quocumque Jecer
is Stabit”\, released via Overdrive\nRecords in Europe and Temporary Resid
ence Ltd. worldwide\, reaffirming their\nability to balance visceral power
with structural precision and emotional depth.\n\nOver more than three de
cades\, UZEDA have earned a dedicated global following for\ntheir uncompro
	mising approach\, influential collaborations\, and steadfast\ncommitment t
o artistic independence\, traits that have made them a touchstone of\nthe
international underground rock scene.\n\nTheir decades-long journey and pa
rtnership with Steve Albini are documented in\nthe feature film Uzeda – Do
It Yourself (dir. Maria Arena\, 2024)\, spotlighting\ntheir DIY ethos and
impact on alternative music culture.\n\n𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐌 𝐆𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐔𝐌 (Slowing Records)
\nBerliner trio that explores the intersection between composition and fre
	e\nimprovisation\, blending experimental rock\, electronic textures\, and
avant-garde\ninfluences. Their self-titled debut EP was released on April
	25\, 2025\, via\nSlowing Records.\n\nhttps://minimumgaudium.bandcamp.com [
