Visceral Contempt

Visceral Contempt rose from the ashes of Human Demise, which disbanded in 2013.

Vocalist Maurice and guita rist Willem stayed in touch, and in 2023 Willem wrote

three old scho ol metalcore tracks built around the concept of Operation Oyster –

t he WWII Allied bombing raid on the Philips factories in Eindhoven. Maurice

penned the lyrics and rehearsals began. Victor (Dark Intentions / P igteeth)

joined on drums, and the debut demo The Raid was recorded i n February 2024. The

demo was released later that year, with Johan ( ex-No Turning Back) stepping in

on bass. The band played their first shows in December 2024 and 2025, supporting

Earth Crisis, Mindwar a nd Rancor. With five new songs and a remastered demo in

hand, WTF Re cords jumped at the chance to release them together on CD and

digita l. 2026 turns bleak when Visceral Contempt hits the stage again.
