This r ural region is considered "Area C"\, which are\nterritories of the West Ba nk that are under complete control of the Israeli\ngovernment and it's occ upation force and make up more than 60% of the West Bank.\nWhile Palestini ans in these areas are subjected to millitary checkpoints which\nthey cant cross without special permits\, the Israeli apartheid law allows\nIsraeli citizens to have complete freedom of movement through these areas\, areas \nthat are used as a large and important part in the zionist settler proje ct of\ngreater Israel. The zionist regime tactically places violent settle rs on hills\nover the Palestinian villages. Protected by the law\, the arm y and the police\,\nthe settlers use physical and psychological terror on the Palestinians with the\ngoal of running them out of their villages and taking over.
