DESCRIPTION:Kjetil Nernes is a survivor. He is\, for all intents and purpos
	es\, the Norwegian\nrock band Årabrot\, who formed in Haugesund\, Norway i
	n 2001. After stalking the\nblackened\, grimey European noise rock undergr
	ound for years\, a rupturing change\ncame in the form of serious illness i
	n 2014. After contracting a rare and\naggressive form of cancer\, he nearl
	y died\; but the lengthy\, painful experience\nof treatment and recovery g
	ave him the time and space to reconsider his entire\nlife… including his a
	rtistic practice.\nSpeaking from the deconsecrated church in Djura\, Swede
	n\, where he lives with his\nwife\, the musician Karin Park and their youn
	g daughter\, he describes how the\nillness changed everything: “I struggle
	d out of that period of extreme sickness\nby writing the last album The Go
	spel (2016). It was like a big explosion.\nBecause after an explosion you 
	have silence. And in the silence you realise that\neverything has changed.
	 In that silence\, the new record was written.\n\n \n\nVoices Of Metropoli
